It’s finally here and honesty, its pretty much FIFA ten with a few very subtle tweaks. Now this isn’t really a criticism and if anything is a weirdly deflected compliment. Basically, the FIFA series has got so good in recent years that with each new game, improvements are getting harder and harder to do, other than simply updating the players and stats to keep on trend with the current leagues. They are becoming that realistic.
That said, there is one brilliant improvement and that is the addition of Personality+ which sees players actually playing and acting like they would in real life. Unlike previous attempts to do things similar this is not limited to batches of positions only, it is genuinely tailored to an individual player to player basis. Christiano Ronaldo will fall over like a sunflower and Theo Walcot will bounce off of bigger players like a pancy.
And this tiny feature is what makes getting the game worthwhile.
Well done FIFA, you have raised the bar again. Your move Pro Evo.
